Like everyone else, I like its size (perfectly fits in my northface rain-jacket's pocket) and its ergonomic handle. I also like that it is not bulky nor heavy.Why am I giving it 2 stars?I've used the umbrella a handful of times. The majority of the time I've had an issue with this umbrella. The first time I used it was during a 5 min walk from my home to the train. It worked great. However, once I got to my destination, the umbrella did not open properly. I was having this issue [...] During my 10 minute walk to work, under heavy rain, I had to hold the umbrella from the runner in order for it to remain open. Believe me, I was not happy.After a while I figured out that this umbrella has to be closed in a particular way (grab the entire canopy while in the closed position and bring it together with the handle for it to lock in place) otherwise it will have problems opening and closing correctly.In another event, on my way to work, again, this time the umbrella was working just fine until I started feeling drops falling on me. I couldn't understand where they were falling from since I had the umbrella open to shield me from the rain. I then the material used for the canopy seems to absorb some of the rain.Why haven't I returned it?It does what an umbrella is suppose to do, for the most part. I have resolved the open/close issue (or so I hope). Didn't notice in the picture, but it has some fake wood laminate on the handle, which actually looks really nice, and has a grip design that has grooves for fingers. That's a great feature except that the handle is crazy tiny. I have slightly larger than average hands for a man and can only hold it with 3-4 fingers. When I pushed the button to open the umbrella, it failed to open and if I attempted to manually raise the umbrella to use it, it failed to stay open.
