I do not think money is worth to make this a gmo plant, but want to make sure... is non-gmo , right?

I bought these seeds and now my plant is flowering beautifully and it's over 4 ft high. The only way I would know for sure if these seeds are GMO or not, is if I planted the seeds harvested from my plant next year. But I highly doubt it's GMO, this plant grows in the wild like a weed and it keeps coming back, much like Marigolds. I think it's absolutely worth the money, it's probably the best regenerative liver plant out there and a supplement containing this plant it's not cheap. The benefits are in the seeds, those are grinded and used for treatment!

Will these seeds germinate and thrive in northern New Jersey?

Hi, this is Stephanie from No. 9 Farms.  Milk thistle is grown into northern Canada, so it should do fine in northern New Jersey.

Any Verified Purchasers grow strong plants that produce more seed?

I would like to tell you that they grow like weeds, but I am sorry,  I can not help you for now. I have yet to plant the seeds. I  have a Health food store that sells dry bulk thistle by the container full.  So, it makes this on my "to do list."  I am a beer drinker and I mix this with Mullein (that I also get at the same store, and for which I have bought seeds for too). I drink them together for a liver detox. My last physical I passed with flying colors. The dry pound price is in the $20 to $30 range, so I am motivated to grow.  I live in Arizona and we are just getting ready to hit about three months of 100 degrees plus. When it cools down a bit I will plant some. Like I said, I can't help you for now, but get back to me in the fall.

How effective is Milk Thistle if leaves are used for tea?

I have not planted it yet. However, even if I had planted it and grown it successfully and had made tea with it I would not know what to answer. What effect are you expecting?
