The bottles are very sturdy and thick and I’ve never had one break over the years. The top is plastic so just don’t fill them all the way up to the top. Every several months, I clean them with a little white vinegar a couple drops of dawn and warm water. Let them soak rinse some very, very thoroughly and they’re ready to go again.
