RAD 350 Laser Radar Detector, Long Range, False Alert Filter, Black | OLED Display

This radar detector is fantastic and has already saved me multiple times. The biggest reason I'm writing this review is because when you Google advice on radar detectors everyone says to get the most expensive $1000+ rig. Unless you are a competitive underground street racer, there is simply no need to get anything more than this.

Incredible!! For the price and how effective it is, I would buy 100 more! Has great settings and will even sense when cops are just driving around. I love how small it is as well! My only complaint is the cord it comes with is only 6ft long, so not long enough to to be able to stuff along the roof line or interior to hide. As I usually do this with most dashcams and such. But I just bought a 12ft cord instead so pretty easy problem to fix. Overall so worth the money!

Works as expected of its price nothing fancy like the big expensive ones but its definitely helped me out with the under-covers and sneaky cops

So good we got another. This detector is not foolproof it will not detect if there is no active radar.That being said this has got to be the best bang for buck .It has detected on the highway over several miles away. Its great in the dark I have noticed many officer's have the radar running in a spot on the side of or median of highway. They do not stand a chance with this detector.im really happy with the range and value of this unit. If you want to save yourself some speeding citations on short trips that your not using GPS on get this.i only say that because GPS has a community that usually reports the fuzz.

Had it for just a few days seems to be working good, but the name brand is why I bought it, I have always had a cobra radar detector

I've been using a radar detect for 4 years now and they have saved my butt more times than I can count.We all occasionally speed, I don't care what you say it happens often on accident.Speed in itself isn't inherently dangerous, roads such as the autobahn or the middle of nowhere usa where speed limits can reach 85mph prove this. So long as traffic and road conditions are adequate speed is not a problem. Mind you this logic won't get you out of a ticket if you drive like a maniac.I updated from an older cobra radar detector and I can't believe how much quieter this thing is. My old detector was constantly being set off by every prius and Tesla that drove by. It got to the point that I was just ignoring it, until another driver saved me from a ticket by being extra stupid. I was driving to work at 10pm on a Sunday night, roads nearly empty and dry. I was cruising at around 75mph when the radar detector goes off but I just ignored it assuming it was another prius. As I round the corner my heart drops and I downshift to slow down when I see a cop sitting right there watching. He start to pull out as sure enough someone in a mustang flies past us at over 90mph the cop waved as he drove by and I decided it was time for a new radar detector.After a few hours of looking I realized that escorted bought cobra. This made me happy since escorted is a higher end brand and potentially meant better detectors. I was not disappointed when this radar detector arrived.The first few days I thought this detector was broken, it was so quiet I was sure I had gotten a dud. Saturday night came around and I quickly realized this thing wasn't broken it just worked that well. Around every corner that night was a cop and I was only alerted to the cop. I have actually started to trust my radar detector again.Range is excellentFiltering false alarms is unbelievable.Volume is goodLack of voice alert sort of sucks.All in all this thing is a must have, I honestly believe that more information while driving is a good thing.

It beeped all the time and never beeped for police even when I saw them shooting radar

It works okay. Not the farthest range but acceptable for the price. Issue is the silver color top. It reflects a prominent glare on the windshield. I had to put black tape on mine to cut the glare. Unbelievable how companies make such unforced errors.

Works as advertised, this has now paid for itself detecting a handheld scanner.

Great value for this price. It surely save at least two tickets on my long drive. I don’t over speed. But sometimes when the speed limit change suddenly it’s very hard to notice on the long trip. It was able to alarm me at even before I see the undercover police car. One of the downside of this, it’s false alarm. But using it for few time it give idea which one is false or real signal.
