I can finally put out feed for the birds, even peanuts on my retaining wall, without any sign of the kangaroo rats which showy up every night any seeds were around. Even after I had stopped taking care of my feathered friends the dang desert vermin showed up to eat the seeds from the cacti tunas (fruit). I stuck the first one right into the rat burrow. Each morning I check for new burrows. Since using these not a single new one has appeared. They are supposed to work on repelling reptiles/snakes so hopefully when Spring rolls around I won’t get any rattlers.The only problem I have had is getting them further into the ground. The directions would have them only about an inch above it. I’m sure it’s simply a matter of the makeup of my yard - a bit rocky. I don’t think most people would have that problem.I recommend these sonar repellents. Frankly, I doubt there’s much difference between brands because they’re based on the same science.
