Effective and decorative, in both places. I add a little cider vinegar and a few drops of dish soap. You can't smell it - but the fruit flies and gnats can, and they cannot resist it! Traps and kills them - just change out the contents every week or every other week. Drastically reduces the number of flying pests! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ A classy way to rid your home of fruit flies! *by K***N on September 23, 2019* Due to unfortunate circumstances, I wound up with a fruit fly infestation in my home. It was horrible. They were everywhere and I saw no way to get rid of them. I used this as well as sticky clear fly traps and was able to get rid of almost all of them.During the horrible infestation, I put about a half cup of apple cider vinegar, a couple drops of dish soap, and water into this product. When I checked later, it must have had over 100 fruit flies in it.This is a wonderful and discreet way to get rid of fruit flies in your home. ### ⭐⭐⭐ Seller was great, product has it's flaws. *by A***A on August 3, 2020* Inside rim on the lid was warped when the clay was still wet so the lid would not sit down on the jar. The return process was so simple and the seller was great, they replaced the jar immediately. The new lid does close on the jar but is a bit off center (again due to warped wet clay.)
