It is bright and last all night. It has a setting for motion, a bright light on for security and a light that stay on all night. Easy to operate and easy to install. I just love it. It has a one year warranty and it lights the front of my home for beauty and security. I bought five and had no problems so far. I prefer option 1 which lights up the lamp as it detect movement, then brightens up as a person approaches it, and stays lights for some minutes after movement is no longer detected. Excellent. It is not that sturdy since it is all plastic, therefore I am not sure it withstand heavy heat from sun and high winds and rain for a long period of time.
