Mine goes down to 23.2*, about a half inch lower than what you've got, and I can tell you the only time it's ever been that low was when I first built the thing and was calibrating the controller. After raising the desk above that it's never been close to that low since. I raise it all the way up more frequently than to lower it all the way down (which again is never). Raised all the way up makes it easy to work underneath the desktop. * Note the 23.2" measurement is to the top of my desktop, which is 1¾" thick, so the underside is actually 21.45" off the floor at the lowest setting.
