Really had to dig deep and figure it out. I did not have to download Matter, even though Alexa wanted me to. I think I only set it up on the, new to me, Switchbot app. Then I was able to get Siri shortcut, then finally somehow got Alexa to recognize the bot. I set the momentary switch duration in the app to the lowest setting I found(1 sec). I can now tell Siri to open the garage, so relieved. All my big garage leds come on when I get home from the Alexa arrival routine, which messes up my garage door clicker reception from my truck is mostly why I went this route if you are wondering. SwitchBot devices have been very reliable for me. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great product - horrible instructions *by D***G on June 4, 2025* This should be a 5 star product but their decision to use 4 point type for the instructions makes the manual uselesss. Functionally it has been flawless. It was relatively easy to set up in the app and Alexa automatically added it to its device functions. I quickly added 4 more to my system for a total of 8. They activate/automate 12V lights in the RV, the remote switch on a gate opener, exhaust fans and low voltage lights. So far they have all operated exactly as they should.
