Unlike other reviewer(s), I do believe that they have a scent while in the package. It is as expected and not overwhelming. The bracelets can fit an adult or child and can fit smaller ankles, which is nice because I tend to get bit more on my legs than on my upper body.I have an infant who is still in an infant seat. When we go out in buggy areas, I attach one of these to the handle on her car seat (out of her reach). I like that I don't have to use spray on her or put anything on her skin.
