Review: No prep and big results! - I love these! I teach high school English in an alternative school, attendance and behavior is sporadic at best. This book is a lifesaver, the pages come with a poem or excerpt and space to start writing - each page has a sidebar with instructions. Ideally, I use these as a pre write but realistically , my students complete these for participation , then work on a final copy to submit for a grade. Great resource in the classroom.

Some very powerful poems, and writing but need to be read prior to reading aloud because some content is a bit mature for my 10 year olds!!
