Delivery was fast and the base works perfectly! Very heavy and very stable! We have quite heavy gusts of window, but the base, with a 6 ft umbrella has not moved an inch! Highly recommended!! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Very heavy base *by D***L on 13 December 2022* Bought this to hold a 2.7m parasol which is has a 38mm diameter that I had bought on here. It easily does the job, even on a windy day. This feels much heavier than 16kg and is very stable. The locking nut for holding the parasol in place is a hand tightened wheel that closes a bolt onto the parasol pole. You have to be careful not to overtighten if you have a hollow pole parasol.
