Worst product on amazon
Stupid rack. Total waste of money. Do not buy. I bought it by mistake without reading other's reviews. The rack does not assemble at all, and it completely falls apart. If one end of the stick goes in, the other end comes out. The screws do not go into that thing to hold the sticks in place. Total waste of money. I missed the return window because i opened up the package after a month of receiving it, only to find that this is the worst product I ever purchased on amazon and must be banned from amazon.

Good, simple wood rack. Assembly required.
Good solid drying rack if you properly assemble. I like the light weight and wood instead of metal.

was hopeful, but hopes dashed
My wife ordered these and we were glad to find these. So glad that she bought three. While I was assembling the first one, it broke. Now we are returning all three. We're not even going to try to assemble the other two. They're too fragile in my opinion. We're getting metal ones, next. The instructions said to put it together by hand, but there were complications: 1. the rods were too big (too tight) to easily fit in the holes 2. for expanding and collapsing once fully assembled, the plastic holes that the rods go into spin, which makes it very difficult to hand twist a rod that is too large into the hole. Needless to say, I could not reasonably get any of the rods into their holes by hand. So I used a hammer to reasonably LIGHTLY tap the rods into their holes. This worked great to get the rods into their holes. HOWEVER, then one of the wood beams broke (see photos). Now the unit is useless. I considered trying to wood glue it back together, but then talked myself out of it. I checked the listing that my wife purchased from and I see other photos of this same problem. A paper included with the unit said to contact the manufacturer for problems instead of returning them to the store (Amazon), but for something so easy to break, they're going back to the store for something better. So while disassembling the unit to put back in the box to return it, was just as difficult as putting it together. I had to use a lot of force to get the rods out of the tight holes, and another wood beam broke. I included photos of the rods after disassembly. They are coated with a plastic coating that was pushed back from trying to get the rods into the holes. and some of the plastic holes had rings that also fell off. With two broken beams, it was very difficult to get all the pieces back in the box for return. Buyer beware!

Cheap and broke easily
Cheap item! It doesn't come together correctly because the dowels are different sizes. I even tried to super glue the dowels so they stay in the holes, but once I put a pair of wet jeans on them, it collapsed and broke. We had to throw it away. Don't buy this product, buy a metal one, they're much more durable.

This rack is CRAP
I guess you get what you pay for. This is so poorly made that it is virtually impossible to put together. The screw holes are drilled in a size that is easily twice the size of the screws provided, so when you insert the screws there is nothing to screw them into. After several hours of trying to make it work (after following the useless directions), we finally gave up and improvised with a combination of SuperGlue and other attachments. It is now put together, but comes apart as soon as you hang anything from it (I'm talking about small items of clothing like underwear, not blankets), and it can't be folded back up - which means it can't be stored when not being used (or useless as the case may be). What ABSOLUTE JUNK.

Not sturdy. One of the rails broke the first time I used it to dry a towel.
This rack was pricey to be so flimsy. One of the rails broke the first time I used it. I hung a regular size towel on it and when I took it off after drying it just fell on the floor. Past 30 day return with amazon.

Whitmor Natural Wood Drying Rack
The Whitmor Natural Wood Drying Rack is perfect in every way! It’s sturdy, well-built, and holds a good amount of laundry without tipping or wobbling. The natural wood finish looks great in any space, and it folds easily for convenient storage when not in use. It’s functional, durable, and makes drying clothes so much easier — I couldn’t be happier with it!

Doesn’t close up or stand up
I would have returned this drying rack but my husband had already thrown away the box. This drying rack must be assembled at home. The hanging rods do not fit into the accordion section. They are too long or too short. The drying rack buckles. The top hooks do not hook correctly over the top rod. The drying rack spontaneously collapses and yet it does not collapse completely. You get what you pay for. In my 40 years of using drying racks, this is the worst one I’ve had.
