There are half the weight of the boots I wore out from Lands End. They were comfortable from the first moment I put them on. No break-in. The soles have excellent tread. The upper leather is very soft and moves to relive pressure points. On the first day, I wore them from morning until after dinner and they remain comfortable. The size chart is accurate. I usually but a 10.5 US but the chart recommended an 11. I went with the 11 and the boots fit perfectly. I have only had these boots for a couple of weeks and they have exceeded all my expectations.
