I bought the Classical Flat model to use on my classical guitar, and it works great. Good tension, holds the strings down very well. I have several Kyser capos, and they work just fine, but I got this one just because it's beautiful; I was very happy to discover that it's a perfectly good capo. Several reviewers have stated that it doesn't work on a classical guitar past the 2nd or 3rd fret, but I tried it on two different classical guitars, a Washburn, and my Tamura, which is a pretty straight-ahead classical size and width neck; it took a little coaxing, but I got it to work perfectly well up to the 9th fret. So it's not just a "pretty face"; it's beautiful, but it works well, too.

Not sure this review will help anyone, but I received my Wingo capo with fast shipping. I do not play the guitar on a regular basis, but I am trying to pick it up again after many years of not playing. You Tube videos, which can include the words, cords and sometimes tabs is most helpful for trying to relearn something I did as a teen. On these videos and some TV shows I have seen people using the capo, which I have never used before. Since the price seemed right, I bought one here and found it does work, but I have only tried it a couple times and was able to play along on a video where my guitar was in tune with the video and the person using a capo. Seems to work just fine. I tune my guitar with an android phone guitar tuning app and it helps to properly tune, so it is in tune with others playing the guitar.

Looks so good. I chose the natural Rosewood grain capo. It goes so well with the nice wooden pattern of my Classical Yamaha C40 guitar. It is easy to attach and remove, and feels so high quality. A few days later Wingo contacted me to ask how I liked it and if I am satisfied with the Capo. They Also reminded me I have Life Time warranty. Not bad for under $10 dollars! I highly recommend it!

In my opinion, this particular capo is just the thing for use on a classical acoustic guitar. It's well-built and it has a very strong spring that keeps the guitar strings solidly down - without any fret buzz whatsoever. In addition, the upper guitar string pad is plenty long enough to cover all of your classical guitar strings. Also, I feel that the price on it is quite reasonable for what you get. I haven't tried out the picks yet, but from the look of them, I would suspect that they're OK. Good job, Wingo -- you get my vote! And yes, I would recommend this to a friend.

Ho acquistato questo capotasto per chitarra principalmente per uso su chitarra classica e devo dire che fa il suo dovere in modo soddisfacente.La struttura è leggera ma abbastanza solida, si aggancia bene al manico senza graffiare e mantiene una buona pressione sulle corde, evitando fastidiosi ronzii durante l’esecuzione. Anche il cambio tra i tasti è rapido e pratico, utile soprattutto se si suona spesso.Apprezzo anche la presenza dei plettri inclusi, che sono un piccolo extra sempre utile. Esteticamente l’effetto “palissandro” è carino e dà un aspetto più curato al prodotto.Nel complesso è un buon accessorio, semplice ma funzionale, ideale per chi cerca un capotasto economico ma affidabile per studio o uso amatoriale.
