The flavor is rich, balanced, and tastes much closer to a homemade sauce than most options you’ll find at the grocery store. The tomatoes have a fresh, natural taste without being overly sweet, and the basil adds just the right amount of flavor without overpowering the sauce. The texture is smooth with a nice consistency that coats pasta well and also works great in recipes like baked ziti, lasagna, or chicken parmesan. One thing I appreciate is that the ingredient list is simple and recognizable. It tastes like a quality sauce made with real ingredients rather than something loaded with unnecessary additives. While it may cost a little more than some other brands, the flavor and quality make it worth it for me. It’s become a staple in my pantry, and I always like having an extra jar on hand for a quick and easy dinner. Highly recommended. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ The best sauce *by on Reviewed in Canada 3 July 2021* Best pasta sauce out there ## Frequently Bought Together - Rao's Homemade Tomato Basil Sauce, 24 oz, Tomato Sauce, All Purpose, Keto Friendly Pasta Sauce, Premium Quality, Tomatoes from Italy and Basil - Rao's Homemade Marinara Sauce, 24 oz, All Purpose Tomato Sauce, Pasta Sauce, Carb Conscious, Keto Friendly, All Natural, Premium Quality, With Italian Tomatoes & Olive Oil --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.co.uk/products/68366899-raos-tomato-basil-sauce-24-oz](https://www.desertcart.co.uk/products/68366899-raos-tomato-basil-sauce-24-oz) --- *Product available on Desertcart United Kingdom* *Store origin: GB* *Last updated: 2026-10-03*
