This smell clashes with your excepted 'nice food' smell you want, and dampens your overall eating experience. NEVER had a microwave that required a burn-in period, so I suspect something is seriously wrong and that it will fail soon. Disappointed the turntable is not a perfect synced 360 degree rotation at :30 sec (more like random 379.5 degrees) you have to reach around to a new spot to grab your food.
