The extension pieces really helped in making sure she could reach up there without climbing on anything. She only had to stop twice to give the mop a rinse before getting back to it. However, the sections can become unscrewed easily, so be prepared to tighten the handle quite often. The Velcro on the head was stuck more firmly to the cloth than the head itself, so again, a little care might be required to ensure that you remove only the cloth for washing. It was very easy to reattach the cloth after washing. The pads are held securely onto the mop with strong Velcro but are easily detached to rinse off. I just wash the floor a little rinse off the dirt and replace the pad. My floor is clean in no time. Then I put a micro cloth on in place of the pad and dry the floor is clean.
