I put a lite amount of manuka honey umf 20+ on this silvercel and put it on my wound then put a silicone wound dressing. Make sure it’s not infected also wash/pat with wound wash pat dry and apply silvercel with manuka. Only change every other day to help build the sick. It has been very effective for me in the past **Q: Do I need tape for this product or is it t self adhesive?** A: You will need tape. Since Silvercell is fairly expensive but a great product to aid the wound healing process, you will be cutting pieces to cover the wound from the Silvercel sheets you buy. You then tape the Silvercel pieces to the skin to keep the piece of Silvercel over the wound area. **Q: what is the expiration date ?** A: They are dry pads for application to wounds.
