Up until now I have been using a standard pillow during feeds, thus cushion is comfortable on my lap and baby happily sat/lay very content in the "U".shape of the cushion. Made breastfeeding so much more comfortable when you have a newborn feeding for up to an hour at a time, and also soft and comfortable over C-section scar. However, after washing the cover once, the waterproof lining inside all came away from the cover. Sent back and replaced by amazon but same thing happened again. Not so great as any leaks just soak through into the cushion.
