Silver? Or white?** A: It is white in colour. **Q: Does it get on the way of a pan's handle?** A: No - my pots handles are above the protective wall. Shallower pans would have handles that would be in the way of the wall - but only at the front of the hob. This have never been a limitation or constraint for us. This hob protection gave me the confidence to cook with less stress when they are around. The adhesive is also good and the extension is exact as our cooker area. So it is a perfect fit.
