The heavier model is Reich CWC 522-1600 Orange. It's a bit of a con putting '1500' in the 1,000kgs model! **Q: How are batteries installed** A: On the underside of the Reich and under the display you will see a rectangular shaped lid flush with the surface. You need to insert a small thin screwdriver or similar against the central catch which is towards the end of the Reich and lever the battery cover off. You can't get the same reading twice. Good enough for a rough guide but at Β£150 i expect it to be accurate to with in its tolerances (+/_3%) and to give a fairly repeatable figure.
