I wanted some general purpose pliers that won’t scratch surfaces like door handles, appliance parts etc. and these work great so far! The plastic protective grip isn’t entirely plastic. It has some malleability and rubbery grip. The hinge is spring loaded which is nice too. They are very slim and lightweight despite being fairly long (over 8” for this model). The price was reasonable and the joint is adjustable so I think they’re overall a very good value! I added some detailed photos so you can see the materials a little better. The only downside is the packaging is in Japanese but there’s a trick - take a pic of the packaging then highlight the text in the photos app. Copy and paste the text into google translate and bam!
