Removal and installation is a bit of wrestling match, but if you flex the unit carefully on the drivers side, you can just slip it in or out. Total swapout for me took about 45 minutes, and that includes some time spent comparing the two.

The radiator fans are of excellent quality but prepare to fight hard to install it. This is not the fan's fault it is the Volvo car's fault. Please watch some Youtube tutorials and have someone handy to help you. You will need him/her.
