I really like this style of recessed lights. I've used them before. But these one with the night light or uplighting feature are awesome. They make it feel like a theatre experience. It's nice because they don't glare on the TV when they're in nightlight mode. Super easy to install. They're able to be dimmed so they're adjustability makes them pretty versatile. You can change the white tone of the light on the silver box after wiring it in before popping them into the ceiling. They can be a cool white, a natural white, a warm white or even a yellow toned white. I would recommend these. They do not come with the dimmer toggle switch that is required to activate the nightlight mode. So you'll need to order one of those too. Be careful to order the right kind.

We have to have lights that are close to the ceiling in the basement because the ceiling is so low, so this works great! I love that there is the option to change the color mode of the lighting as well. This was a very quick and easy to install and looks great! If you are looking for an upgrade, I would definitely recommend this light to you and would purchase this again without hesitation! Just so you know, this review is from an impartial opinion. This 6 inch LED light might be the lowest profile light I've come across. It installs as easily as any other, but its really low profile is unique and something to consider if you have minimum space for lighting installation. For the record I hired an electrician, as I was changing out a bunch of lighting anyway. The halo nightlight is a nice addition, and as I have yet to install a dimmer switch, I'll refrain from commenting on the dimmability at the moment, but I look forward to that eventual option. Nice light!

Decided to changeout a regular 6 inch thin led disc type mounted in the ceiling at an entry hallway to a new addition with this product when found due to its additional color shade switching option and night light features. The item had arrived in good time securely boxed with everything needed for the project. The items made very well and is just that - a very thin disc even with the nightlight option which does have to bring the disc down from flush. I do have similar with same option elsewhere and this one is half the thickness of only approx 1/2" instead of a full inch which means its less noticable at distance. That also means the ring of light is thinner and actually more attractive to the eye - not less. The included seperate workbox has ample room for wiring with 3 knockouts of choice for wire runs and 2 mounting holes for joist attachment. The wiring from the light comes equipped with pre-installed 'waco' type connectors which makes for an overall easier install in the wiring up dept. and a pigtail from box to light with a simple attach n' screw-on connector to the same pigtail from the light which once together end up giving an ample length to work with. The workbox has the side switch to change the color ambiance (2700-5000k) to different shades of white for personal preference. Test and make the choice prior to disc install and as for that install - the disc is equipped with 2 side spring-loaded u-clips that made for a very ez install in the pre-cut '6 inch' hole. Yes this one covers an exact cut of 6 inches in diameter without issue and holds firm in place without any gaps. I already had the circuit set up using a wall switch dimmer and this one operated this light with zero issues - 'Dewinwils' brand. I have approx '8' of their dimmers in use (most r 3-ways) - none have been an issue with a variety of brands lights for months of usage and they operate this light with ease - zero flicker at any settings. The dim function works on both the main light and the rings night light and the change from either light is a simple on/off flip of the switch - this one never has gotten out of sync after a couple dozen tries. Both will also dim down further than others already in use which is personally even more pleasing. This lights features r bar none issue free therefore I can highly recommend it when in search for this type of lighting. It's a sure-fire winner and very satisfied with this product in every way. I've had these lights installed in my bathroom for about 3 months now, and I can honestly say they're such an upgrade over my standard pot lights. The nightlight function works exactly how I'd like it to, the color temperature and CRI are awesome, and the installation wasn't too challenging. Considering these are less than the price of a decent LED flood light bulb, they're also a great value! But let's talk details: I had attic access for installation, and I'm really glad I did. My previous light needed to be completely removed in order for these to be put in, and it helped to be able to actually reach everything I was working on. For a new installation, this shouldn't be too big of an issue since the included Jbox works great, but it is something to consider for replacement applications. I'm really picky about CRI in my LED bulbs, and these do not disappoint. If you aren't familiar with CRI, it's basically how "true" colors appear when lit with a light source. If a bulb has a low CRI, everything just looks... very wrong. Often skin tones are the easiest thing to notice, and some cheap bulbs I've seen have made me look sickly, and made me feel the same. I have mine set to 4000k, and really love the light it throws. The only downside I noticed isn't the fault of this product, but the installation I was replacing it with. Because the old light has a flanged pot style where a 1" ring extended around the hole in the ceiling, this light leaves about a 1/2" gap where the ceiling wasn't painted around it. Again, not a knock on this product, just something to keep in mind for replacement jobs. When lit, however, it isn't noticeable since that gap is in the shadow anyway. Overall, these lights are a great value and I would get them again!

While I found the spring clips to be a bit finicky, requiring a careful hand to avoid snapping them due to their strong retention, this was a minor hiccup in what was otherwise a smooth installation. It's worth noting for future installers to take a bit of extra care during this step. Another feature I appreciate is the 5CCT adjustability, allowing me to select from 2700K to 5000K. Paired with a dimming switch, these lights offer a versatile range of brightness levels, from brightly lit for daytime use to dimly lit for a relaxed evening atmosphere. The dimmable functionality works seamlessly, providing a sufficient range that meets all my lighting needs. Certified by ETL and Energy Star, I'm confident in the efficiency and safety of these lights, not to mention their environmental and cost-saving benefits. Their 12W power consumption, equivalent to 110W, alongside the impressive 1050LM output, ensures that my bathroom is well-lit with energy-efficient lighting. In summary, these LED recessed lights have been an excellent addition to my bathroom, offering both functionality and style. The night light feature, ease of installation, and adjustable brightness make them a highly recommended upgrade for anyone looking to enhance their home lighting system.

This is a super bright overhead light with multiple settings. It is canless and very easy to install. When you are ready to connect wires make sure you take out the knockout and thread wires through junction box. If you forget to do this the only way to remove the wires is to cut them. It is very bright white light which is brighter than a standard lightbulb. Only negative for me is the downlight. I would prefer the option to diable that feature.

I got this light to see how it both compares and works with my other existing setup of similar kinds. This one is slightly different than what exists but fundamentally works the same. The light is extremely bright on full-power mode. I need to have a dimmer assigned to the light in order to use it. The setting first perfectly in an already existing hole and has been functioning perfectly for a few weeks. For the night light mode it's an amber color, unchangeable, that's emitted by the surface. This is really the only difference from the others that I have as the others have the diffuser ring extending just beyond the light to allow it to emit downward as well a bit. This is where the differences end though as everything else is the same. At the end, it does perform about the same even on the night light mode and is not terribly noticeable In terms of thermals this does a great job and keeping cool. I think these are better than the others I have as the others control box does heat up where as this one it stays a bit cooler under the same conditions. This leads me to think they will last a bit longer. What I don't particularly like is the pre-existing pushed on quick connectors. They are nice but I have my own opinion on them for long-term use. The junction box also feels a lot more professional than the others I have, the door latch is a lot better built and feels more sturdy, especially around the control circuit. Note: The junction box needs a load-relief addon for proper install which is an additional purchase.

I love these. I have a dark hallway downstairs and this is the perfect solution. I had cheap looking night lights before and these look way more professional.

Great lights easy to install and look great

I've been swapping all the existing 6in pots in my home to these night light pots from SEURON. Installation is dead simple, just unwire the existing pot fixtures (mine are the old style, with screw in bulbs in a can), then route the wire into the boxes provided with these lights. You'll need a cable entry bushing, that has not been included. You simply knock out what ever entry point you want to use in the box, insert your bushing to protect the cable from cutting on the super sharp edges of the junction box, then terminate your wires. The kit comes with push in wire connectors, but there's plenty of room in the junction box for your favorite method, be it WAGO's or good old wire nuts. Once your box is in, make sure to set your colour temp on the switch and just tuck it away into the ceiling space, plug in your pancake pot light, fold those retaining arms back, and place it in your 6in hole. The retaining clips do a good job of pulling the light flush with the ceiling surface, and the little foam gasket attached to the light gives you an air tight seal. The nightlight function is awesome - and easy to use by just toggling your switch within 2s. I was even able to get my home automation to work with this feature - though it can lose track of what 'mode' its in if someone manually switches mode. One thing to flag that I hadn't appreciated. Because the nightlight casts outward along the plane of your ceiling surface, it will highlight any imperfections that may have otherwise been unnoticeable. I found this out the hard way putting in this style of light into our bedroom (using 4in versions though). It resulted in a weekend of sanding and repainting as it was clear who ever mudded and sanded initially wasn't that great at it. Back to this product.... super easy install, amazing performance (butter smooth dimming in both modes!), and fully certified to the Canadian Electrical Code. Nothing but 5-stars from me on this one... I love them.
