Solid power supply so far! More than enough power to drive my btech 50 W gmrs base station. No noticeable noise output in received or transmitted signals. Voltage regulation is dead on. There are cheaper supplies available, but I like the build quality and performance on this one. No regrets at this point.

I purchased this Btech powersupply because it was very reasonable/low cost as compared to other manufacturers. Prices on powersupplies have gone up a lot, but Btech has the cost within the range I needed. In addition, Btech has a good reputation on radio and power supplies.I use this on my FT-710 and an external tuner.Have not had any issues at all. Delivers a solid 13.8 volts. Voltage can be adjustable, of preset to 13.8 volts (via a switch in the rear). Power to my FT-710 is clean and no noise or buzzing. I usually drive about 6 amps from this powersupply.Happy with this product. Does what it needs to do for a reasonable cost.Update: 1/17/26: Been doing a lot of FT8 work several hours each day. Pulling about 13 amps on each transmission. No issues at all. The top of the power supply (heat sink) does not even get warm. Really like this power supply.

I bought this power supply for powering HAM radios which is its intended use.It has three options for connecting loads:* Banana plug/wire terminals on the back (30A)* Car cigarette lighter style socket on the front (10A)* Cable clamps on the front (3A)It has the option to switch the output voltage between a fixed 13.8V (which is 1.2V higher as the nominal output voltage of a 12V vehicle battery or similar) and a variable output voltage between roughly 8V and 15V (the switch for toggling between the fixed and variable voltage output is on the back panel, which is not a bad thing as it should prevent accidental change). The supply has a display showing the output voltage and the current. I have measured the variable output voltage with a 6 1/2 digit multimeter and the readings are within less than 100mV.Given t's 30A maximum output current it should theoretically be able to supply up to 450W, albeit I have not tested that. However, that should be sufficient to easily provide power for multiple radios in standby receiving mode. Even when transmitting at 100W on one radio it still has sufficient headroom for the other radios. The maximum current of 30A is only available through the clamps on the rear of the unit.It is a switching power supply which keeps the form factor small considering the power output. I have not measured the switching ripple/noise. If that causes problems on the receiving frequency through audible sounds, there is a knob called "Noise Offset" which allows to shift the switching frequency. I have not had any problems with noise though.

The noise offset adjustment? Haven't touched it once. I also keep it at a constant 13.8 volts with perfect results.This isn't just a power supply; it's a reliable companion for any serious radio enthusiast. If I ever needed another one, the BTECH RPS-30PRO would be my go-to without hesitation. It's compact, efficient, and powerful, earning a solid five stars.

I’ve only had it about a week but it works great. I have the two radios in the pics hooked up to it. It draws about 3.7 amps with both radio on receive only. if I key up one radio with 50w FM, it almost uses 15amps. I don’t plan on keying both radios at the same time but that would push it to its limit.It has large terminals on the back for easy hook up and little push terminal on front for low power items instead of using a wall wart.
