A great high quality product, easy to use
A far better varnish than the usual polyurethane yacht varnish I have used previously. Sadolin varnish gives a great finish, has no fumes, dries quickly and brushes wash out in soapy water. For all interior wood varnishing, I shall only use this in future. Highly recommended.

great end result
An easy product to deal with and a very pleasing result!. You can use a roller or brush and it self levels- just thin enough to paint with. It dries quickly. Runs are easy to deal with. Best to do multiple thin coats with light sanding in between. I'm super happy with the end result! A very predictable product that's easy to use and maintain. I am impressed and will continue to use.

Gave me a surprise, but all seems well
The last time I used Sadolin it was nothing like this. It gave me such a surprise when I opened the tin and found this opaque WHITE stuff. I know Sadolin is good so soldiered on with it, treating two garden benches and the slats of two garden gates while we still had dry weather. It irritated me at first because this was rather like painting with milk. It left white film everywhere. Anyway I painted, then finished and went for a walk. When I got back, was pleased to notice any whiteness had disappeared and the varnishing looked good. But what this varnish doesn't do, is deepen the shade of the wood. That can be a very good thing if someone doesn't want any colour change. Or it can be a slightly disappointing thing if you are expecting that rich golden glow when painted on, as I always used to get with other polyurethane based varnishes. The wood you paint will stay more or less the exact shade it was before varnishing. One good thing -I could put on a second coat later that same day! It was also rather bizarre (I can never adapt to water based varnish so my bad!) -to have to wash out the brush in water. I have yet to test durability and weatherproofing after 2 coats. Time will tell, and a bit of winter weather but I generally have confidence in Sadolin products so I'm sure it will do well.

Sadolin varnish
Excellent quality , strong varnish used to restore an oak table . Well worth spending a bit more for a strong varnish that also gives a great finish

Good stuff
Renovating our new home and changed all the doors, architraves, skirting, window sills to oak and used this to finish. It has given a really nice low sheen finish without changing the colour of the timber. It was easy to apply and dried quickly. We are very happy with the finished appearance. Amazon was the only place we could find the satin finish in 2.5l tins at a reasonable price.

Recommendations from the professional
We had same work done in the house and we asked the joiner what would be the best varnish to complete the work he quoted โ this is the stuff I used when I did my own upgrade โ. So we thought if itโs good enough for the professionals it is good for us. It was easily applied and the results where excellent. I used approx 2/3 of tin to complete the varnishing (3 coats).

An excellent choice for a varnish
I am very satisfied with this product. It dry quickly with very little smell (important for indoor use) and gives excellent results.
