So I bought this set with various sizes for more detail work. These pro series are vastly better than the flex cut knives made 25 years ago. I didn’t care for them and bought Swiss knives. But I don’t think they are as good as these now. Great profile really cuts through wood quickly. Sharp as can be. I only strop occasionally

Great knives, the tapered blades make deep stop cuts much easier. Very comfortable handles for longer carving sessions. At 71 that’s very important. I first tried a Whittler style pocket knife, then I got a folding carving knife but both hurt my hands to much. These are much better and they came super sharp and make cuts super easy. If your serious these are the tools you need.
