Yellowstone Season 5 Part 2

Don't be put off by 1923 or Costner absence.
I think with the producer's schedule so busy and Costner making a film outside, communication got lost and Costner felt left out of the loop when no accommodations made; an oversight by busy but unrelated people. 1923 Season One was unwatchable because of cartoon, side of the barn depictions of good v evil in characters and extreme liberties in presenting a character so that inconsistency was the only mark. With that all of the Texas time and the pulling down of the Y brand I thought would be off the mark of the overall tale but this proved wrong: the story is grounded like a tarp in a bad wind, tragedy needing quick and steady resolution; that, and the multiple endings for characters satisfied the story's end in a similar way to the epic Lord of the Rings tale, at least in the book. Not leisurely but rhapsody. Care was built into the characters and most get their due in the presentation.

Even though John Dutton was killed in the beginning, it was expected with Kevin Costner bowing out. All in all it was worth watching. Especially since Jaimie got what was coming to him.

Well done, Mr. Sheridan
The dvd showed up when it was supposed to and it was in good shape. We've been following this story from the beginning but had read some very unkind reviews about the second part of season 5. So, we didn't know what to expect. But, it was very, very good. We have wondered how Sheridan would have ended it if Costner would have stayed but it didn't really matter. It ended well. With a hint of possibilities for continuation of the story and characters. Well done, Mr. Sheridan.

Highly recommend
We were not disappointed! Excellent ending to the Yellowstone series. We went the DVD disc route because we were fed up with the streaming networks changing it around as to where we could watch it, having to pay extra. They really make it difficult for Canadians!
