I love the fact that I can fit it into tight spaces that were too small for a tripod such as between my desk and a nearby bookcase. In fact, the flat bottom even lets you slide it under furniture so you have even more flexibility to move it right next to other furniture or move it so the pole is right against a desk and the base slides nearly underneath it. For that reason alone it's the perfect mount for a lot of content creators who do talking head videos while seated at a desk. The biggest thing for me is that I'm also a lot less likely to trip over the legs in my cramped studio space.
