Clean, wholesome ingredients!
It's rare to find a packaged bread with such clean ingredients. I'm on a special diet and can only have rye bread if it's free of seeds, sugar, wheat flour and preservatives. This bread has surprised and delighted me! The flavor is rich and you can taste the sourdough notes. I've made homemade 100% rye flour sourdough from scratch several times, and this bread is as good as or better than my homemade loaves. It tastes rustic and simple. The bread was also very fresh and well within the expiration date.

I have purchased Dimplflmeier bread for years. Ordered this rye bread. If I wanted Kommissbrot I would have ordered it, that is military bread for those who need a translation. Very unhappy. That is what cardboard must taste like.
