Worked great! So EASY!!! I tried to gather all the supplies for a fruit battery at a local hardware store.. I got the wrong stuff and it didn’t work. And my son and I wanted to kill each other trying to get it to work. Wasted my money and time. I decided to see if amazon had something.. sure enough!! This was the best science project ever!! Teacher and other kids loved it. It was so easy to complete, the only way to go for science projects!

Fabulous. I put two of my second grade daycare students on it and they assembled it without my help in less than ten minutes, as the diagram was spot-on. Highly recommended.

This product worked great for us. We used it for my son's science fair project. He was able to reuse it four times on different types of citrus to see which one would last the longest and the kit held up for weeks.

I got this mainly for the clock, for use in a 4th grade science project. I already had copper and zinc rods suitable for use, but I couldn't find a nice low-power clock. For the price, and seeing her joy, it was worth it. We simply secured the clock to a piece of plywood using some hot-glue, which made the whole thing easy to transport. The clock itself is fickle. The "buttons" are rather small, prone to multiple presses and took a bit of experimenting to figure out which button did what. No show-stopper, but it was a little irritating to keep resetting the clock after 9 year old fingers played with it...

I was excited to try out the lemon clock with my son. I was impressed with how easy it was and how well it worked.

Didn't work as well as described. Fun experiment for young child.

I’ve been teaching how to make electrical currents with common items and fruit or vegetables. This kit makes the process easier. Make sure you read the instructions carefully for which wires go to which electrode and which terminal on the clock.

Was working with my son on his science project...we were initially going to use an led bulb but I could not find an led bulb that would work...I purchased from two different sources and wasted money. Then I saw this product and as a last resort purchased two in case one didn’t work. They both worked like a charm!!! I’ll start here first next time! It worked just as designed and I loved the fact that it also came with the copper and zinc rods.
