But I feel so strongly about this balm - if this can help someone, anyone else then I will put my story here.I developed Trichotillomania (Hair Pulling) after a very stressful period at university and have been trying to manage it for many years. The behaviour results in subconsciously ruining my beard every time I become anxious.After many of years of trying to understand why this happens, I have have learnt that when I'm stressed/anxious I like to stroke my beard in thought in an attempt to calm my thoughts. The trigger point for the pulling behaviour seems to be me finding some sort of irritation under the beard, which then leads me to focusing on one spot, then leads to finding 'odd feeling' hairs, then the pulling behaviour, to then finding more odd hairs, to the eventual bald spot and then finally the sad of process of shaving the beard off and waiting for it to all grow back and starting again.I have tried a range of things like fiddle toys, rings - trying to keep my hands busy, but they didn't always seem to work or they weren't always around.Enter Seven Potions.I have been using this product now for two months - my beard is as thick as it ever has been and it has allow me to get on top of my Trichotillomania.Why I think this product works so well for me:1) The irritation on my skin (I have very sensitive skin) and beardruff are a thing of the past.2) It has smoothed out my beard and changed the texture to the extent I am aware of when I'm stroking it and it has removed the prominence of the odd feeling hairs so it has killed the pulling behaviour.3) It smells really good and its made all natural products.I cannot recommend this product enough. If you are struggling with Trichotillomania and your beard is taking an hammering, this could just be the trick for you. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Good but expensive *by I***F on 3 November 2018* The woodland smell is strong and similar to the sap of a pine tree, I don’t find it overly unpleasant. Balm is soft and pliable at room temp and works through my medium length beard well. Doesn’t leave it feeling greasy like others I’ve tried. I don’t think the 60mg tin will last me that long and at the price tag, it’s pretty pricey! It will last as long as a standard size tin of hair styling clay used daily, but at treble the cost. ### ⭐ Waste of money *by A***R on 13 June 2019* Compared to off the shelve products like Bulldog. Yep. Bulldog. This product comes nowhere near. The smell is awful and it simply does not nourish the hair like other products. Tried so hard to keep using it since it cost so much but couldn’t. So bin it went along with the same branded wax I bought.
