Great quality
These are very sturdy, they don’t peel off, they last the full 10 days on my G7. I feel more comfortable with this overpatch as it seems to keep the CGM in place especially when your getting dressed and undressed, I no longer catch the CGM. Great product. The overpatch in the picture is after 5 days and it’s still sticking ver well. There is a bit of fraying on the edges but it’s not peeling off at all.

Working out great so far!
I recently upgraded to the Dexcom G7 from the G6 and at first was thrilled they came with their own overpatch. That was short lived when I had to change my sensor for the first time and the adhesive proceeded to rip off my skin and/or severely irritate it. It was so bad I thought I was going to have to go back to the G6, but I had to make the G7 work for at least 2 months until I could refill my G6 again through my mail order pharmacy. A friend of mine suggested a patch similar to this one so I went to Amazon to find some to try. I decided on these because of the design as well as the protective shell that fits over my G7 before I apply the overpatch. I am glad I did! Recently on vacation we swam a lot and applied a lot of sunscreen… all things that I knew would weaken the overpatch early. With the protective shell, I was able to swap out overpatches early with no issue! I suspect without it, the sensor may have stuck to the overpatch and possibly have been removed early. Maybe not though, because even the adhesive on that tiny G7 sensor is rough stuff. I have a hard time getting it off.Regardless, these patches have worked out great! They easily last the full 10 days under normal circumstances. Lots of swimming and sunblock will weaken them. Just a friendly reminder… these will leave tan lines. 😂 Obviously that’s not a complaint, just more of a warning to consider when you are placing yours.

Great adhesion and bumper
I'm glad the adhesion is perfect- not too sticky but also does not peel immediately. I wear the Dexcom G7 for all of the 10 days so usually I go through about 2-3 adhesives per 10 days. The bumper is the best part as it protects me from getting snagged on door frames, clothes, etc. I even think the bumper prevents less compression lows because it's not directly pressing on the sensor. When the adhesive curls up a bit it's easy to replace since the bumper is under it and it will not pull up the sensor. 4 out of 5 only because the patterns are not my style- odd colors and patterns. I'd like something even funny/ironic (I.e juice boxes, donuts, bread) all over it or even just subdued colors!

They're alright.
These are pretty middle of the road as far as Dexcom patches go. They don't last the full 10 day that the sensor does so you have to change them 1 to 2 times before the sensor gets changed. They last anywhere from 1-5 days before they start peeling back from the edges pretty substantially. I do really like the little plastic part that goes over the sensor to protect it. I feel like that piece does a pretty good job and the design and patterns are cute, but since the adhesive isn't that great and I have to change them so often I will probably look into another brand when I run out of these.

The best patches I've used so far.
It's strange to have a favorite CGM over patch, but here we are. I won't knock the competition too much (others have their merits), but this was the first patch I bought that stayed 100% attached to my arm for the entire sensor session. If it wasn't the crack of dawn I probably would have grabbed some rubbing alcohol to make things peel a little more smoothly.I am a sound sleeper but also big on tossing/turning (an enigma, I know) and other patches would not handle my wild arm flaying in the middle of the night. These ones held strong to the point that I nearly forgot this little robot needle was semi-permanently attached to the back of my arm. What I like about this patch:- The adhesion is, as mentioned, undeniably strong- The little sensor cover keeps the sticker from sticking directly to the sensor- The colors are a whimsical addition (especially if you want to have 1980s skating rink carpet on your arm)What I don't like:- If you know there's a sensor going in the middle of the patch...then why have any adhesion there at all?
