Left it in according to how dark I wanted my beard. My beard darkened to the color I wanted and I was pleased with the result. Then washed my my face and beard afterward, as prescribed. When I washed my face and beard the color washed out. What's worse is now my skin is irritated as well, the same as it would get irritated when I'd use beard dye with PPD in it.
