Review: Great for metal detecting - After you locate and dig the hole this pin pointer really locates the object quickly. If your detector doesn't come with a pin pointer then this is definitely needed. And this is a really good one. I don't think you need to spend more to get better. This works like a champ. Doesn't make a lot of noise just vibrates after locating the object. Wouldn't want to metal detect without it. One 9-volt battery. Can't go wrong with it. This is an update just to let you know some people say the battery cap falls off time to time. Not mine. If you connect the wires to the battery and insert it with the wires going towards the inside the cap fits right and doesn't fall off.

After you locate and dig the hole this pin pointer really locates the object quickly. If your detector doesn't come with a pin pointer then this is definitely needed. And this is a really good one. I don't think you need to spend more to get better. This works like a champ. Doesn't make a lot of noise just vibrates after locating the object. Wouldn't want to metal detect without it.
