Review: WiFi finally works! - At last a USB-C hub that works perfectly with my MacBook Pro (13-inch, 2016, Two Thunderbolt 3 ports). For a while I could not understand why every so often I would lose internet connection, yet my WiFi seemed to be connected. After troubleshooting I eventually traced it to my old USB-C hub which seemed to be affecting my MacBook Pro WiFi. I tried wrapping some kitchen foil around the cable but unfortunately it didn't help. After doing some research I came across this Kingston hub. desertcart's great deal made it a great buy, cheaper than my old hub so I decided to give it a try. I'm happy to say that my wifi issues have been resolved with this hub. It works perfectly, I've had an external USB-C drive connected, a USB midi keyboard, my MacBook charger and a USB audio interface all connected to the hub without any problem. I'm very pleased with this quality product which has an aluminium top and bottom casing and good quality plug. Haven't tried a HDMI monitor on it or SD card yet but I'm sure they will also work fine. Definitely recommended if you have an Apple MacBook Pro, only drawback is that it didn't include a carry case or pouch!
Review: Perfect for the iPad Pro 2018 musician - I purchased this to use with my 12.9” iPad Pro 2018. As a musician I want to charge the iPad, use a class compliant USB midi keyboard and plug in a pair of headphones using apples usb c headphone adapter. And this works perfectly. The combination of a usb c power delivery and a second usb c socket for other things seems to be fairly unusual for a hub at the moment. I tested it with an Akai LPK25, a Akai MPK mini and my M-Audio Axiom Pro 61 all are class compliant and all of them worked without any problems. I also plugged in my Apogee Duet for iPad and Mac and that worked fine through it too. I know another reviewer said they couldn’t get their midi keyboard to work, which I don’t understand as all mine work fine. I tested the hdmi port and that works great too.

**Q: Will this have enough ports for ipad pro 3rd gen and usb-c audio adapter at same time?**
A: There are two usb2/3 ports and two usb c ports but one of the c ports is a power port - I have not tried it for other devices yet. So if you have a usb2/3 lightening cable then you can attach the iPad and an audio through the c port but not sure if both are usb c cables

**Q: Smart tv connected directly to laptop was fine but didn't work when connected through the nucleum hub. should this scenario work please ?**
A: The only thought that I have is have you connected a power supply to the hub? I find my hub requires a power supply most of the time but I use an iPad Pro and the charger that came with the iPad. I hope that helps..

**Q: What is the maximum power the hub can handle at the same time? can i have and hdmi monitor, a portable usb 3 drive and a keyboard plugged in at once?**
A: Can’t give you data behind the amount of ‘power’. But on the daily, I have a 27 inch monitor plugged in through it’s HDMI, keyboard in the one USB, an Android phone connected through the second USB, iOS phone connected via USB-C adaptor with another USB cable charging my Vape stick, while mirroring these devices onto the connected MacBook Pro 13 inch, while the USB-C is charging everything through this Hub. The hub itself runs warm (the USB-C adaptor runs hot in comparison). No data transfer or charge issue and I use very heavily.

It works kind of. Using it to power a laptop and screen. Sometimes the screen will not work so have unplug and reconnect. Was hoping the USB C would power the second screen but this will not work. So have to use the USB A-C converter. Does run hot but no major concern.
