can i use this with a bluetooth speaker?

The confusion in the answers to this question are because two different models are lumped together. The VSC-500BTC has "Vinyl Streaming Technology" meaning you can output the music to a Bluetooth speaker. The VSC-550BTC does not have the vinyl streaming feature. Both models can input Bluetooth to the internal speakers.

Can you plug this into a large stereo receiver to use some better speakers?

Lots of confused answers here... The OP asked if they could plug this player into a "large stereo receiver" - to play the sound coming FROM the player on larger (better) speakers. As Samuel Kline mentions it is certainly possible. Connect a red/white audio cable from the "RCA Out" jacks (on the back of the player) to your stereo amplifier (then connect that amp to your bigger/better speakers). Have fun... @kbrieash: the stereo reciever needs an RCA-IN (pretty much all stereo receivers have an RCA-in) @Siniwerx: no, this unit DOES have an RCA-out (it's on the back) @James Orenthal K. Emmett Robsi… : no - that's for headphones- it's not the way to get good sound for a stereo receiver. Use the RCA-out (on the back of the player) @Ralph: you'll get great sound if you use the RCA-out jacks on the back @kbrieash (again): the original question was about using the sound FROM the player - not sending sound TO the player. ...phew!
