Review: Very nice stand, should last a long time. - Simple, effective, and nice in appearance. It holds five full-size guitar cases and stands freely, without needing to rest against a wall. Exactly what I was looking for. Easy assembly with screws and pre-drilled holes, with included glue to reinforce the joints, where needed. All of the visible wood pieces were very comparable in color/shading; only one piece was (a tiny bit) different in shade, but it was the stringer which runs across the back and provides support to the overall frame. Given that this piece is hidden by the guitar cases when in use, this isn't an issue to me. I suspect it would not even be noticeable to somebody who didn't assemble the unit. I only mention it since all the other pieces were of such high consistency, and this was a deviation in the product. If I need another rack, I'll look to get another one of these.

**Q: What are the dimensions of the rack? I think the ones listed are the package because 24" width doesn't make sense. Thanks!**
A: You are correct, this rack is 36" wide, 30" tall, and 13.25" deep.

**Q: Can a violin case fit on this stand without touching the floor? I have an oblong case and a half moon shaped violin cases.**
A: Full sized violin cases fit perfectly, any other size is too small. Half moon or oblong cases might not be wide enough to sit on the rack without touching the floor, but can still easily stay upright without falling over

**Q: will dulcimers fit on this rack?**
A: I have my dulcimer in the case on my rack now. I also have mandolins, and CBGs. They fit nicely. Blessings! :)

**Q: Can you tell me the outside dementions Height, weight and depth?**
A: Height: 30"; Depth: 14" (Distance between two wooden base pieces is about 10"; however, there is a foot-piece in the back--hard to see in the photo--that extends the depth to 14". If you plan to put the rack against a wall, you will need about 17" of depth clearance so the tops of the cases will not hit or mark up the wall.) Don't know weight as my cases are on it, but it is lightweight enough to carry easily, and sturdy enough to support the instruments well. I love mine!

This stand is absolutely beautiful. The instructions were excellent and it was really easy to put together. It's tall enough for my mandolin case but too tall for my soft ukulele case, but since I have my ukulele out, I squished the case between two others and it's still standing. I've had a pile of cases and instruments on the floor for decades and it feels good to be more tidy. Now I just need a stand for my accordion!
