A French bulldog might get into small, not sure. There’s plenty of adjustment on the harness so we were able to get a secure comfy fit. **Q: We have a 9 month old dog which isn’t small what kind of size harness would fit her?** A: Hello, we have a Beagle dog who is a few months off 2years old. The harness fits him well with room to make it smaller or larger. He is medium in size and I think we will get plenty of use from the harness. I have washed it a few times, it washes well and has kept its colour 😊 **Q: I have a westie and a springer spaniel. What size would you suggest I get for them both?** A: Got medium for our westie and adjusted the straps for a perfect fit. Not sure about spaniel size. **Q: Does this actually stop pulling, tried so many different ones but they haven’t helped** A: No, pulling won’t be stopped solely based on what type of harness you use. Dogs pull because they have learnt they move forward when they pull. Best method we have used is to come to a complete stop until our Pup stops pulling, looks at us and then we can move forward. If he continues to do it we walk in the opposite direction. It’s time consuming and walks aren’t very fun whilst learning this but you will eventually get there. This harness is slightly padded so if they are pulling it will be a bit softer on their body. The other thing is that the clip for lead is located on the back so if you have a short lead you can pull up rather than back and that has helped with our pup’s pulling a bit. Might be worth you checking out someone called South End Dog Training the guy has some really good videos on dog pulling on leads.
