As a result I had to use two strips that don't adhere together to cover the bottom of my fruit bin in the refrigerator. Since they don't adhere to each other they shift every time you take an item out of the bin. I would have preferred one size that I could cut to fit the bin. It feels exactly like those reusable filters in air filters and such...not the soft spongy types but more like the stiffer plastic kind.Conceptually, it works by keeping the condensation build up away from the produce contacting and sitting on a non-breathable shelf. If you don't want the utilitarian dark gray or black from the sotre, then I guess you buy these green guys.
