Even with hair that was longer and thicker as my back had not been shaved in quite a while, it cut very easily. I had been worried about the blades against my skin and getting the right amount of pressure and not cutting up or irritating my skin too much, and while it takes some getting used to it is no more irritating than the Mangroomer or any other option out there and this gets a much closer shave. Highly recommend for shaving your back on your own, better than any other item on the market at the moment. Works great! The blades are about three times longer than a normal razor and the bakblade razors don’t have the issue of getting clogged with hair like a normal razor would.
