I was quite sceptical about listening to it having known Troye Sivan through his YouTube channel. I read the reviews, unfailing universal acclaim, checked out a few songs on Spotify and was captivated head over heels. Troye has one of the most gentle beautiful voices in today's world of loud, bass-heavy club pop and I love his expression of gay life, love and sexuality shamelessly. It's a breath of fresh air. Also love that he wrote all the lyrics to every song by himself instead of relying on studio teams/rappers/songwriters. This album is beautifully recorded, the artwork and layout are gorgeous and at just ten songs and 37 minutes long, it's short and sweet but very powerful.
