I sealed my stamped concrete driveway with it n we like on a salt water( brackish) lake **Q: Is it necessary to clean the concrete? Does it need two coats ? If so how long between each coat before the second is applied?** A: Yes-- you should clean with soap & water (I used dishwashing soap) & rinse well afterwards. I allowed it to dry for 24 hours & then applied the sealer by spraying it on the concrete & then rolling it to ensure even coverage. There was no second coat needed **Q: Can this item be sprayed on and also is it bubble proof** A: We tried spraying in a little spot. It seemed to bubble. We rolled it on very easily, and no bubbles! It looks great. We even added grit to it, and it still looks smooth and great, but is now, non slip even during the winter. It also brought back the color, as it was looking faded before we sealed it. **Q: Can this go on after acid staining?** A: Yes I believe so. I purchased four gallons and will have enough to recoat my patio one, possibly two more times. Time will tell regarding durability. I sprayed and then back rolled and brushed the low areas in the stamped concrete pattern. Very easy to use, goes on a little bluish white so you know where you have already covered sets up very quickly. We probably could have walked on it the same day, but decided to give it 24 hours to set. It is a gloss sheen so it is a little more shiny than my previous sealer. It looks really nice, but when it is wet it becomes very slippery if you have no shoes on. Even with shoes you need to be careful walking on it when it is wet.
