I did a table top with both finished and unfinished tile and it worked great on both. I applied 3 thick coats with a soft brush, letting each coat dry before applying the next coat. Dont worry if it looks cloudy, it clears up as it dries. It does dry pretty quick. If you use a soft brush and apply thick coats, the brush marks will disappear as the varnish settles.
