Nine Inch Nails will release their new album Bad Witch on June 22, completing the trilogy that began with 2016's Not The Actual Events and 2017's ADD VIOLENCE. Nine Inch Nails will launch COLD AND BLACK AND INFINITE NORTH AMERICA 2018 on September 13 with support The Jesus and Mary Chain. The band will bring their "musical, visual, emotional sensory onslaught," as hailed by The New York Times, to some of the most iconic venues in the USA. Review: Great EP - A fun EP from NIN! The vinyl version sounds awesome! Review: Great Album Seemingly Tailored for Long Time NIN Fans. - The Album is amazing if you like Nine Inch Nails. Not sure how a non fan would view it but I love it. Bad Witch represents Act 3 of a three EP concept, the previous two being Not The Actual Events and Add Violence. At the last minute Bad Witch was marketed as an LP. Soundwise, It is dismal and distorted and blows Hesitation Marks out of the water in term of overall concept and performance. It does have a shorter runtime, just barely a LP by today's standards. There are some feelings represented reminiscent of tracks off of the Lost Highway soundtrack and the Broken ep. The packaging is standard vinyl fair with printed liner notes on the inset sleeve. Didn't see a seperate download card with the packaging and they usually have that in their vinyl releases but I, got it here and would have just gotten the MP3s anyway and it had the Auto-Rip option.

A new yet familiar sound - an excellent release.
Bad Witch brings both original and familiar sounds of NIN. After several listen throughs, I must admit that I'm very pleased with this release. I admire how Trent allows himself to explore and experiment as much as he does or else we'd get another The Downard Spiral, which, in a good way, this clearly isn't. He clearly removes himself from whatever comfort zone that may exist which results in masterful and original work such as this record. It's been a pleasure to hear his evolving sound over the past several decades - Trent is a master of his craft and this record and all other releases continue to prove it. I'm looking forward to his future work. I hope you all enjoy Bad Witch as much as I'm enjoying it.

I'm Not From this World is great
Nine Inch Nails – Bad Witch (Capitol) Marketed as a full-length CD, “Bad Witch” resides barely outside the EP range, with six songs coming in at 30 minutes. Starting off with a nod to his earlier works, with barely restrained rage and high energy; the CD reaches its peak with the highly experimental “I’m Not from this World” (although not as out there as his “Ghosts” works) and then glides out with the strangely harsh-soothing “Over and Out”. It's not the sci-fi story wrap up that I hoped for from this trilogy but it's also a way more meaningful direction to have gone so I am grateful NIN didn't take the comfortable way out on this one
There is an old torture technique where someone puts a rat in a box, then straps the box to someone's bare stomach, and then lights the box on fire. The rat has only one way out - to dig through the person to escape. The emotion that the rat is feeling, is the emotion that this album feeds. It's frankly upsetting, but it's also tapping into a place inside of me that I have been tempted to avoid looking into with the state of current affairs in the world. If you want to be reminded not to do so, this is the album for you. It's not the sci-fi story wrap up that I hoped for from this trilogy but it's also a way more meaningful direction to have gone so I am grateful NIN didn't take the comfortable way out on this one.

Na Na Na Na- This is actually Nine Inch Nails- Bad Witch EP
The third of an 'EP trilogy' released by Nine Inch Nails, this is Bad Witch - together with Atticus Ross, Trent Reznor has made yet another gem you'll find yourself appreciating more with every listen. Yes, someone at Amazon messed up and left the Name and ProductDescription fields as 'NA,' which means only people who recognized the image bought this CD. For shame, Amazon. The 'EP trilogy' is: 1: Not The Actual Events 2: Add Violence 3: Bad Witch Enjoy!

So Nice I Had To Buy It Thrice
I wasn't super sure when God Breaks Down the Door came out. Then I bought the digital release, and it all made sense - what a great way to wrap this series of releases. So I got it on vinyl, because I appreciate the effort made on packaging. Turns out they ended up making a CD too - and it was an inexpensive purchase. Artists don't get paid enough, so support them where you can.

Another great releace from Nine Inch Nails
If you are a fan of NIN this is a must-have for your enjoyment. It is experimental in all the right ways and I feel is the 3rd part of a cool set of songs starting with Not the actual events, then Add Violence, The songs as well as the vibe flow in true NIN way. Adding Ross as a permanent member of NIN in no way lessened Trent's sonic punch if any noticable change to the work is in the fact it got better. five stars all the way I can not wait to see them play these songs live!

Indescriptible!
