Product description Premium Pure Copper Construction Geosiry Copper Wire is crafted from 100% pure copper , ensuring unmatched conductivity and minimal energy loss. Unlike copper-clad or aluminum alternatives, our wire offer superior electrical performance, making it ideal for high-demand applications like power transmission, automotive systems. Specifications Material: Pure Copper (Bare, Stranded) + PVC Insulation Temperature Range: -104ยฐF to 221ยฐF (-40ยฐC to 105ยฐC) Available in Multiple Gauges (10 AWG to 2 AWG) and Lengths (20ft, 50ft) Wide Range of Applications High Voltage Built to handle high voltage environments, GEOSIRY Copper Wire meets rigorous safety standards for residential, commercial, and industrial use. Applications Ideal for home renovations, automotive repairs, solar projects, and more. Safety & Reliability Its thick PVC insulation provides superior resistance to heat (up to 221ยฐF), abrasion, and moisture, ensuring safe operation in demanding conditions. Ultra Flexible Engineered with a multi-stranded copper core, this wire offers exceptional flexibility for easy bending and installation in tight spaces. Various Gauges and Lengths 20FT 10 Gauge Wire 50FT 10 Gauge Wire 20FT 8 Gauge Wire 50FT 8 Gauge Wire 20FT 6 Gauge Wire 50FT 6 Gauge Wire 20FT 4 Gauge Wire Review: Very flexible for its size - I have to say that I am impressed with how flexible this is for 8 gauge wire. It is a very fine strand making it easy to work with. It is Oxygen Free Copper wire, not Coper Clad Aluminum. So it will do well carrying a lot of current. I like this and will be purchasing more in even larger gauges for a project I will be starting soon. I will say that the insulation seems a little softer/easier to cut than I would like. Not that it is a problem unless it is routed near sharp edges. If I can not prevent that from happening, I will need to route it inside of flexible conduit. But, I am very pleased with this wire, and recommend it if you are in need of similar. Review: Thick wire for low loss solar extension - I really like how thick this wire is. I wanted it for an extension to my solar system that won't create resistance loss and this seems to do the trick. It could have an additional protective sleeve, but so far that hasn't mattered.

Thick wire for low loss solar extension
I really like how thick this wire is. I wanted it for an extension to my solar system that won't create resistance loss and this seems to do the trick. It could have an additional protective sleeve, but so far that hasn't mattered.

I'm really happy with this 8 gauge wire
This 8 gauge wire, is exactly as shown in the listing. The wire is fine, without being so fine that the strands are randomly breaking off. When I first opened the bag, I was greeted by a strong chemical smell, but after I let the wire air out, it's greatly reduced. I don't expect the smell to be an issue with most people, but it may bother some people who are overly sensitive to smells like this. I'm sure that is due to the chemicals used to make it suitable for marine use, and it feels like it would handle a marine environment well. I got this wire, to power my radio gear. This will probably end up being used on an amplifier I'm working on.

Excellent highly flexible, high strand count copper
I like this wire for the following features: highly flexible, thick PVC insulation for abrasion resistance and easy installation; high strand count conductors for better flexibility, again for ease of installation and also for maximum contact area when crimped or installed in clamp-down terminals, for high current applications; pure copper for maximum conductivity. The only feature lacking is tinning of the conductors. Because of this, I would not use it for marine, especially salt water applications. Other positive qualities: UL listing (it has the backwards R superimposed with U symbol), weather resistance (although PVC is not what is recommended for solar panel applications); flammability rating. Excellent wire for high-current automotive and other applications, recommended.

Very flexible power supply
Using these for running power to a distribution block in my truck bed. I have a decent amount of things I plug in and this thick gauge wire is the key to getting those amps where theyโre needed. If you want the best quality cord out there, pure copper cable is the way to go. This is a very good alternative to the expensive pure copper though. In the right application, this is just as good. No complaints!

8 AWG copper wire
This review is for GEOSIRY brand 8 gauge copper wire. The wire is finely stranded and the insulation is soft so the wire is flexible and nice to work with. The insulation is rated for 105 degrees Celsius, which is nice. For me, I am going to use it indoors between the DC breakers and my charge controllers. I also have plans for this 8 AWG wire in other 12v high current circuits. All in all, it is very nice copper wire. Just use it for the right application.

Appears to be of good quality
This is 20 foot of red and black 8 AWG wire suitable for solar or other higher current uses. This is very flexable and the quality appears to be good. This is labeled on the wire itself ZHONGLI SCI-TECH GROUP 8 AWM STYLE 1026 E156525A 8AWG 1000V 105C VW1. Hope that info answers any questions. The advertisement states oxygen free . This is a very nice wire for your next project and I feel that I can recommend it.

Wouldn't use outside without being in conduit
I got this to run power to an amplifier for some subwoofers in my buddy's car. It seems to be fit for purpose in that regard. It claims to be weatherproof, but I wouldn't test it. The insulation is pretty soft and easy to cut, which is great for indoors or in a car, so long as you avoid pinch points. If I were to use it out doors, I would definitely run it through some PVC or some other conduit, preferably with some waterproof junction boxes on the ends. I'm definitely going to try to run it through pre-existing holes in the firewall that have a grommet in place.
