This sparked my curiosity into reading this book because here recently a series of bad events have been taking place in my life from something from a trauma from my past which I thought I moved on from has crossed paths with a relationship in my life in the present. This event dragging up a bunch of emotions, memories, and feelings about the trauma also brought with it disgust, betrayal from a partner, distrust, and heartbreak all around on my part. Just seeing the chapter titles was enough for me not only because of these events taking place, but also because I very well recognized with what each chapter would be covering could fit into my life and be very beneficial. How I can use what I read from each chapter as a kind of tool bag/tricks or tips to give me some type of starting point in addition to counseling sessions in dealing with different assorted emotional baggage I been carrying from my past I never really dealt with properly. Getting insight on processes to help you heal from past traumas and experiences you've faced in your life. So, you can let go of that emotional baggage you been carrying so it's not hovering over you like a rain cloud and move on with your life. While also being happy, grateful, and gracious for what's happening in the now. Cause in not all memories and experiences, but some the past tends to bring uncomfortable feelings when thinking about them and the future is going to happen. It's inevitable whether we like it or not so we only going to work ourselves up agonizing about what the future has in store for us. So, that's something I learned from Care Package: A Path To Deep Healing along with many other things to add to my tool belt to start the process of healing is to have more of a sense of gratitude with the present. To appreciate everything you're blessed with in life and being made more aware of that and if you're going through a rough patch in the present just realize they don't last forever and to still be gracious. This book came into contact with me at the correct time when I needed words as well as a starting point to kind of help me decipher and get through these trying times I'm faced with.
