Our research has led us to realize that the majority of people do not use the ratchet protectors and sadly, most just they end up making their way into landfills. If you store the slackline properly and make sure you don’t leave it out in the rain, you will not need to protect the ratchet with a ratchet protector. **Q: Can I purchase just a training line with ratchet? I can't seem to find mine from my kit.** A: Thanks for your question. We have two different kits: COMPLETE KIT with Training Line, and the CLASSIC KIT without Training Line. If you ordered the CLASSIC KIT by mistake, you can return it free of charge through your Amazon "Orders" page and then place an order for the COMPLETE KIT. Should you have any issues with the returns process, please reach out to us and we will gladly assist you! **Q: Where is the version with the training line?** A: It was out of stock for a few weeks, but is now back in stock! **Q: Problem if tree circumference greater than 60”? What’s the largest tree that can be used?** A: The ratchet webbing on all our slacklines (blue, red and black) is 8 ft in length, which means a tree with a circumference of 60 inches (5 feet) would work just fine. As for the largest tree that can be used, any tree with a circumference of up to 7 feet should be no problem at all. As the circumference gets closer to 8 feet, you start getting closer to maxing out the capacity of the ratchet webbing. If your tree is close to (but still less than) 8 feet in circumference, you can always go ahead and place an order and simply return the product to Amazon within the 30 day return window if it won't fit with your particular setup. John, if you're reading this, I want the ZenMonkey sticker that came with the kit back!! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Bought because of the color… *by R***S on August 28, 2022* There are cheaper lines on the market and this is definitely a simple product that probably doesn’t have much difference between manufactures but I just didn’t want to be looking at an ugly line! The ratchet is rated and has some plastic molded around the handle & release for comfort. The tree protectors at big enough for most trees but won’t go all the way around most of them at my local park. The line is comfortable to step on, it’s certainly not a repurposed trucking strap. The beginner package was only $4 more but I knew I’d never use the assist line. This thing is addictive, I’m out in the park almost every night getting closer to being able to walk the whole thing.
