It has to be the most under-rated Sonic game i have ever played. And, yes, it IS better than Mario Kart!Graphics: 9/10Nice graphics, considering how old the game is. For 1998, they are excelent! The courses fade in beautifully and are very well landscaped. Panoramic backgrounds, realistic objects and the stars coming out of Super Sonic wont disapoint!Gameplay: 10/10Brilliant! Runs smoothly and quickly. The great thing is that in this game you can pretty much run over the whole landscape, and there are HUNDREDS of shortcuts and different routes. There are different ways to explore the courses such as racing on them backwards in the time attack mode and playing "tag" with the computer controlled charactersAudio: 10/10Ok, i know the lyrics are corny. But if you dont like them you can listen to the great instrumentals instead. What could possibly go wrong?The answer is: things did go wrong.After installing the game,all i got was this error saying."This program encountered a problem at address 004801d9 and cannot continue"So being the computer wiz which i am, i did what any other person would do to play an old windows XP game on a 64-bit Vista operating system, which was to run this game in compatibility mode for Windows XP. It didn't work, same error popped up, then i did it again, running the game in compatibility mode for windows 98 and it still didn't work what so ever.So to end this. Don't buy this game for the PC, it will not run on windows vista or windows 7. It will only run on the old operating systems like XP e.t.c.(it might be able to run on your PC, i don't know) and i am most definitely not going to waste hours upon hours of my time going though websites, just to get a fix for this one little game which i could of been playing right now.My advice to you, is to stay away from this version and buy just go buy Sonic Gems collection instead, on the GameCube or PlayStation 2 because not only does it come with SonicR, it also comes with two other games which you might not have: Sonic the fighters and Sonic CD. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5.0 out of 5 stars i lov'in it *by Y***2 on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 17 March 2004* I like this game very much.I havn't know it can be played on PC.
